Allison has completed her Master’s in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. Her work was supervised by Cynthia Schoppmann, Registered Psychotherapist.
Allison is warm, caring, empathetic, and works from a person-centered approach. She believes that the most important part of therapy is building a relationship based on trust, genuineness, and compassion. Through this relationship, Allison creates a sense of safety and security for her clients to explore and understand their thoughts, behaviours and emotions to make positive changes in their lives. By incorporating mindfulness, self-compassion, and strengths-based perspectives, Allison encourages her clients to set goals and grow to their true potential.
If you are looking to make positive changes in your life, but are feeling impeded by anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, burnout or isolation, Allison can help.
